A miraculous beginning: the fraternity house
Dr. Stephens' extraordinary journey began over 50 years ago in college, responding to a fraternity brother's suicide attempt. In a moment of desperate prayer, with a voice guiding him to simply lay his hand on his friend, the bleeding miraculously stopped. The emergency room doctor later confirmed a miracle, stating he shouldn't have survived or been able to move his legs. This pivotal event ignited a lifelong quest to understand divine intervention.
The basis for Dr. Stephens Ministry to Prevent Premature Death has it's action roots here. Activation of the anointing in this realm spans all sorts of Dramatic Miracles and Healings. Keeping in mind a miracle may not involve a healing and perhaps the reverse is may be true also. His call does not interfere with Health Care as he is a Health Care provider. To that end he can bring balance to this space where others have become extreme or even dangerous to others in their all or nothing approach.
From dental school to divine calling
Following dental school, a profound experience in 1985 solidified Dr. Stephens' path. During a powerful church message about who controls our lives, a week later, patients in the nursing home he visited began emerging from comas when he entered their rooms and came to their bedside for examination. It was clear: God was using him. From that moment, Dr. Stephens understood his mission to report on , follow and operate in the supernatural power of God, intertwining his profession with his divine calling.
Bridging faith, healthcare, and healing
Dr. Stephens uniquely blends his clinical dentistry experience with a deep spiritual understanding that God is ultimately in control of all health modalities. He passionately believes that miracles and divine healings can exist alongside traditional healthcare, creating a synergistic approach. In his office, he regularly prays for and lays hands on patients before surgeries (with consent), observing how many require significantly less pain medication.
